How to use this resource

This site is organised into six core topics, which you can explore in any order from the Topics page or the Topics dropdown menu in the global header. Each topic page includes a short introduction, clear learning outcomes, sub-sections you can navigate via on-page links or the sidebar, and a reflective activity to help you apply ideas to your own practice.

For quick reference while reading, you can:

  • Use the Glossary page to look up key terms (for example, neurodivergent, neurominority, Universal Design for Learning) in plain language.
  • Visit the Resources page for a consolidated list of articles, organisational websites, and practical guides mentioned throughout the topics, with descriptive link texts and brief usage notes.
  • Use search or breadcrumb trails and “Previous / Next topic” buttons on topic pages to move quickly between topics or return to the full topic list.
You are encouraged to share the link to this OER with colleagues and students, in line with the Creative Commons licence described below.
